Gazing into our crystal ball, we can see into your future.
Your neo-future, that is.
It is tonight. It is 7pm. You are strolling through Andersonville, still digesting the two Hocus Pocus shakes (sherbet, Sprite, & Pop Rocks) you hosed down at George’s. Will your stomach explode? No. Instead, it will lead you through the doors of The Neo-Futurarium at 5153 N. Ashland Ave.
The $20 that magically appears in the hand of your choosing not only grants you entrée into the fleshiest rave that ever was (the aptly named Flesh Rave) to celebrate the launch of the first ever Neo-Futurist literary anthology, it also earns you a copy of the very book in question, The Neo-Futurists: Body.
And now, rare & wonderful book clutched to the breast of your choosing, your still crackling stomach is drawing you to the clickety-clack of typewriters. You are filled with the sudden longing for poetry. You are picking up a pen. You are writing down a topic. You are about to gaze into your own neo-future: “gastrointestinal distress.”
Kaboom.

In case you’re not familiar with the Neo-Futurists, they are so famous they have their own Wikipedia page, just like Adam Sandler. True, his page is slightly longer, but the Neo-Futurists are far weirder & more momentous, & they have never (to our knowledge) donated $2100 to Rudy Giuliani’s presidential campaign.
